September 14, 2009: Mid Life Crisis released its fall concert schedule today, which will include an October 3 show at Moretti's in Mount Prospect, a Halloween fundraiser for Advocate Hope Children's Hospital on October 23, and a post-Thanksgiving show at Flatlanders on November 27. A holiday concert show is in the works for December.
The October 3 show marks MLC's debut at Moretti's in Mount Prospect. "Moretti's is a great venue for live music," commented Mark Ventrelli, MLC's drummer, "and we are working on several new songs for the show."
In addition to the October 3 show at Moretti's, MLC will be performing at the "Hearts for Hope" Halloween Bash to benefit Advocate Hope Children's Hospital on Friday, October 23. This annual fundraiser is held at the Willowbrook Ballroom in Willow Springs and features dinner, drinks and dancing. It is open to the public and tickets are $150 per person with the proceeds benefitting the pediatric heart surgery program at the hospital.
"This event raises money for kids needing heart surgery," commented Scott Powder, MLC guitarist. "It is a great cause, so we hope the MLC fans will consider coming to the event."
MLC has also been booked for a post-Thanksgiving show on Friday, November 27 at Flatlander's in Lincolnshire.
